The absolutely best renovation team! Arete made my kitchen into an absolute dream. I will post pictures soon. Everything was carefully planned, discussed, and even the smallest details were meticulously executed. I am picky and a perfectionist myself, and I could not be more satisfied. This was a huge demolition project and I am so glad I trusted Arete. My husband is an attorney and believe me, we have heard some horror stories regarding renovations. If you are on the fence, I can’t recommend Arete enough. Utmost quality, craftsmanship, extremely timely, and always cleaned up afterwards. I couldn’t be more happy. Everything is perfect.

We hired Arete to do a pretty thorough "facelift" of our condo. Ivana, Marina and Shannon were great in helping us in the design process. They were responsive and had great ideas. We quickly finalized the design and selected materials. The team meeting with everyone at our condo to review the project scope and help ensure we were happy with materials before they started the renovation was quite helpful and reassuring. Marina did a great job as project manager, was quick to answer our questions and follow up on any concerns we raised along the way. The refinished wood floors and cabinets are beautiful. The new counters and backsplash are eye catching adding a lot to the visual appeal of the condo. Great job!

I recently hired Arete for a renovation on my newly purchased condo in downtown Chicago, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The project included installing engineered hardwood throughout most of the unit, carpeting the bedroom, removing a wall and replacing it with a telescopic sliding door, electrical work, wall patching, and a complex TV mount that required reinforcing the wall. Every aspect of the job was executed perfectly, on time, and within budget. Their work was well-organized, and communication was seamless from start to finish. They were incredibly helpful during the planning and design process, ensuring that each step aligned with exactly what I wanted and doubly confirmed with me before proceeding during construction. They took great care to protect my condo and items throughout the project as well. I have done numerous remodels over the years and I have to say this one with Arete Ned & Martin is by far the best experience. Absolutely love the final work, completed on schedule & on budget ! Starting with a pre-contract site meeting with all of the team members to discuss my vision, timeline and step-by-step process. My project coordinator Ned Karastanovic, Martin & Ibro were amazing to work with. I choose not to be on-site for most of the work - I received almost daily updates - pictures to see the progress and discuss anything I wanted - any change order (especially as a result of my add-ons) were easily (& positively) met. What I really felt made the difference was the honest feedback that I got when I wanted something that wasn’t cookie cutter stuff. I wasn’t told no - ‘we don’t do that’ or it was too difficult or not in the original scope of work - but ‘ok’ how are we going to do it! The fact that they have all their ‘partners’ electricians, plumbers, stone masons etc to complete the project made everything seem completely seamless. I live in a condominium that has very specific guidelines and requirements for remodeling and contractors and Areté followed and met each completely which just added to the amazing finish project I am so pleased with the project, Arete, Ned & Martin I am already thinking of another project
